Eric Pias Joins SCK Direct, Inc. as Director of Product Development

Stratford, Connecticut. November 19, 2007 – SCK Direct, Inc., creator of the Internet-based business model for managing and monitoring restaurants, bakeries and food production facilities of all types, is pleased to announce that Eric Pias has joined the company as its Director of Product Development.

Prior to joining SCK Direct, Inc., Mr. Pias was Vice President of Strategic Product Initiatives and earlier was VP of Product Development at Tangoe, Inc., a market leading software provider in the Telecommunication Expense Management space. In these roles, Mr. Pias was responsible for leading the team architecting, designing and implementing Tangoe’s market defining Communications Management Platform software from the initial concept.

Previously, Mr. Pias was a senior consultant at the Allied Group working on projects for General Motors, Sun Microsystems, Carrier and Otis Elevator. Prior to this, Mr. Pias was a lead product engineer at Mergent International, an Independent Software Vendor in Connecticut and was responsible for leading the company’s flagship desktop security software development team.

Mr. Pias holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Geophysics from the University of Connecticut and holds several technical certifications from Sun and Microsoft.
