Long-Time Foodservice Professional, Norm Raderer, Appointed Director of Strategic Accounts for SCK Direct, Inc.

Stratford, Connecticut.  October 31, 2008SCK Direct, Inc. (SCK) the creator of the 'Smart Commercial Kitchen' concept is pleased to announce the appointment of Norm Raderer as Director of Strategic Accounts.

“Norm Raderer brings a unique value set to the SCK team and to our customers and business partners,” said Ben Koether, CEO and Chairman of SCK Direct, Inc.  “We have worked side by side with Norm for over twenty years and respect his industry knowledge associated with designing meaningful solutions that enable operators to deliver higher quality foods.  His restaurant operating experience spans thousands of restaurants around the world and his unique set of professional skills enables him to attract and forge the partnerships necessary to effectively deploy SCK Solutions: chain operators, point-of-sale systems, Xwire™ wireless networks, appliance manufacturers, HVAC devices, and SCK’s web based solutions.”

Prior to joining SCK, Norm Raderer served as a consultant to numerous foodservice equipment manufacturers.  During this time he developed a number of innovative pieces of equipment attributable to his clients’ revenue growth.  In addition, he has consulted for a number of brands within Yum! Brands. (KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Long John Silver’s and A&W All American Food).  Mr. Raderer has also worked with a number of the Business Management Units within Yum Restaurants International around the world, beginning his 30 year industry career as the Director of Engineering for KFC where he was responsible for applying microprocessor based controls to most of the cooking equipment used in a KFC restaurant.

Mr. Raderer is a Licensed Professional Engineer.  He holds an MEng in Engineering Management, an MEng in Mechanical Engineering and a BSME from the J.B. Speed School of Engineering at the University of Louisville.  He also has had a varied Active and Reserve military career in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S Navy Reserve spanning 34 years.  He retired as a Captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
